Marti Wetzell

Marti says coming back "home" to Gastonia has been one of the best decisions she has ever made.  Having grown up here as the oldest of the four Wetzell sisters, Marti is no stranger to musical performance. She sang her first notes in the children's choir at First Presbyterian Church of Gastonia and through subsequent years has sung in many other fine church choirs.  She is presently a member of the Chancel Choir at First United Methodist, Gastonia.

Marti enjoys various flavors of musical performance, having sung with musicians in the jazz, top 40 and sixties genres and has a special zeal for contemporary Christian and worship music. She considers it a privilege to be part of The StarDusters. Marti is enjoying life staying busy pursuing her passion of music, closely followed by socializing with family and friends, old and new.
